What $2600 worth of medicine looks like

We have been trying for a couple of years to have a baby.  We have been with a fertility doctor for about a year, and nothing has worked.  The doctor has told us that my time is ticking a little faster than most women's time ticks.  So, my wonderful parents said that they would help pay for us to do in vitro fertilization.  We are paying for the medicine, and they are paying for the actual procedure.  Today, we got our IVF medicine in the mail!  Hooray!  Here is a video of me opening it:

  1. I didn't get to watch the video but I am so excited for you. Empathetic too 'cuz I know it's all so hard. I hated the way my emotions and thinking changed while on fertility meds. BUT it's obviously worth it and for me, pregnancy was much easier in that respect. So something to look forward to for lots of reasons. Big hugs, fingers crossed and lots of prayers for you. Love you!

  2. Good luck, Tina! You should move to Massachusetts where IVF is covered by health insurance...and I live here ;) A good friend of mine and her husband are heading into their second round of IVF after a successful first attempt. They're looking to add to their brood :)

Hang in there and keep hope!
