Good morning, Mom
Every morning, this is the face that greets me when I walk into his bedroom to get him up:
And today, I put Davis on his blanket to play while I ate breakfast. He turned himself over 180 degrees and was off his blanket when I looked at him again! Silly boy!

Update
It has been almost 2 months since I blogged. I really should do this more. It's not as if I don't have the time, but it's not part of my routine, and I feel like not much has changed lately. But then I took a picture of my boy today, and realized that A LOT has changed. Here are the updates on us:
I have lost 15 pounds in the last month from this system. Pam is my coach, and the system is going well. I feel great! I have 15 pounds left to lose, and then a new summer wardrobe to gain! If you are interested in weight loss, this is seriously the way to do it! I love the system, and how it has taught me to lose weight!
Chris is still running. Like crazy. He exercises every day in some way. So far (all last year and until now), he has lost 40 pounds! Impressive! And one of the most impressive parts is that he actually lost a lot of it while I was pregnant, which is definitely not normal. We are also looking for a job for Chris right now. If you know of any libraries that are hiring, let us know! Ideally, we would move this summer, but as I have found many times over, many times the ideal does not happen, but what should happen does instead. :) We are looking for a job like crazy though!
OK, now for the member of our family who has gone through the most changes: Davis!
This is Davis at 4 months. As you can see, he is a lot better at holding his head up all the way than he was at 3 months, or if you look at my past posts, than he has been in the past.
This is an outfit that he got from Grandma. Right after this picture, he attempted to DESTROY it, and was mildly successful too!
He is still a doll and a pretty easy-going kid. We love this little boy! His very favorite activity is to be on the floor playing with his hands. He tolerates tummy time pretty well, and can hold his head up during that also.
But here are some more pictures of him laying down and playing with his hands:
He can now hold his head up, and tolerate a little bit of time in the Bumbo:
He likes to hang out with Mommy (because he doesn't really have another option):
And help Daddy:
And play with basically anyone, including Grandpa:
This is his favorite sleeping position:
We are actually very lucky, because he pretty much sleeps through the night. From the day we got him home from the hospital, he slept 4 hours at a time. Now, he goes to bed between 7 and 8, and wakes up between 4 and 6, then sleeps another 3-4 hours after that. I cannot complain!
On Sunday, we took a family picture, because I thought it would be fun, and because it was spring:
We are going to Virginia next week, and taking Davis with us. Wish us luck!
